Not only will I walk you through the process step-by-step, showing you everything you need to learn to become a blogger or a published author, but I will do this in the simplest method possible – by video!

We are a visual society, and while it is sometimes helpful to read a bunch of text on a page with lists of bullet points and numbered steps, most people find that a video tutorial guide is much easier to follow and understand.

As you watch the videos on this site about how to set up your blog, build a reading audience, grow your publishing platform, and get your books into print, you will see exactly how I have done these things on my blog and for my books.

Clik here to view.In case you are curious, I am not inexperienced at this. I have a Top-10 Bible and Theology blog, and run one of the top 100,000 websites in the entire world. This is not too bad when you consider that there were over 861,000,000 websites in January 2014.

And while I am not a best-selling author, I have published 10 books as both eBooks and paperback books, and every book that gets published is a little more popular than the ones that came before. I am not saying I will ever become a #1 New York Times best-selling author, but that has never been my goal anyway. I write so I can learn and so others can learn from me. So in this video-tutorial guide, I will show you how I got my books published and how you can too.

Along with the blogging and publishing guides, I will also be sharing with you all the tips and tricks I have learned over the years about blogging and publishing. Sometimes people suffer from the “Field of Dreams” mentality when it comes to writing. They think “If I write it, they will come.” Sadly, this isn’t true in today’s publishing world. To be read, you need to get your blog posts and your books into the hands of potential readers.

I will show you how to do this.

I always try to include some tips and suggestions in my posts and videos. Here is one for this blog post. It is a tip for how to write the best blog post for your readers and for search engines.

• A title
• Content – minimum 300 words, broken up into scannable paragraphs
• H2 (Heading 2) headers
• At least one outgoing link
• Two or three internal links
• A few key sentences/ideas in bold and/or italics.
• At least one image

One blogging tip and trick

Pick a keyword or keyphrase and make sure you include it several times in your post:

1. In the title
2. In the URL permalink
3. In at least one H2 header
4. Several times in the content
5. In at least one “alt tag” of an image
6. In the Post Meta Description and Post Excerpt
7. Make it natural and normal – readers shouldn’t be able to tell!
8. No keyword stuffing!
