I mentioned a $50 fee in one of my videos, but I had to start charging more because of the time and headache involved in blog migration. But this is still cheaper than the $99 that most other companies charge.
Note as well that due to the way some hosting companies are set up, I may not be able to migrate your blog. Therefore, I reserve the right to refuse service.
My blog migration service performs the following:
- Migrate all blog posts*
- Migrate all blog pages*
- Migrate all blog images*
- Migrate all blog comments
- Redirect Feed from old blog (so you won’t lose subscribers)
- Redirect URLs from old blog (so you won’t lose Search Engine traffic)
- Setup blog permalinks for optimum exposure online (helps search engines and blog readers find your posts more easily)
*Please note that while the blog content will get moved over, some formatting may be lost in the migration. You may have to go through your posts and pages and remove extra line breaks, fix paragraph justification, or adjust how text flows around images, etc.
